RADIUS Goes Back to School

Jun 13, 2018

Back in February, our Director of Operations Justen Scholl went back to first grade. Mrs. Hand at Kutztown Elementary asked Justen to visit her first grade class to explain how toothbrushes are made in honor of Dental Awareness Month. The students were then assigned a project to create a unique dog toothbrush design and prototype. This idea was inspired by our Organic Canine Dental Solutions Kit! The students worked together in small groups to come up with their very own design and then visited RADIUS on June 7th to present their ideas to the RADIUS team. The results are as cute as they are clever!

The students explained to us how they worked together to come up with their one-of-a-kind product, how it works, and why it's better than a regular dog toothbrush!

1stgrade-2018(11) This toothbrush prototype has bacon on the handle because all dogs love bacon, amirite?1stgrade-2018(6) This group had an amazing idea to make their dog toothbrush resemble a lollipop, because what pup is going to pass up on a sucker?

After the kids presented their ideas to our team, they got the chance to see up close how our toothbrushes are made! Justen showed them our bristling machines, how we package our products, and how we ship them.

Thank you to Kutztown Elementary, Mrs. Hand, Mr. Hand, and Mr. Simmons for visiting us here at RADIUS and giving us the opportunity to hear some awesome new ideas. Who knows? Maybe you'll see one of these designs on the shelf one day!  😉
