Is brushing alone enough?

Mar 11, 2020

No. Brushing your teeth is not enough to prevent gum disease and tooth decay, as the plaque remains after you brush. You also need to use floss to clean where the brush can’t reach. Mouthwash can and should be used once or twice a day, right after flossing and brushing your teeth, so you can offer protection to your mouth throughout the day, and overnight.
